I am Michelle Salzman. I have 25 years of experience in counseling. I graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary many years ago with an MA in counseling and am now earning my PH.D from BH Carroll Theological Institute. My own life has been transformed by counseling and I long to see that kind of change in my clients. I use an eclectic theoretical approach in my counseling. This simply means I pull from various counseling philosophies and techniques to help my clients achieve their goals. I have extensive experience in counseling with topics such as depression, anxiety, brain functioning, adoption (parents perspective), grief, chronic illness, physical disability, and female hormonal imbalance. I offer both secular and Christian counseling. I look forward to helping you in your journey toward healing.

Michelle is a wonderful counselor. She creates a very loving and safe space to share. Talking with her was easy and I love how it feels like an open conversation rather than just being asked a ton of questions. She shares her life experiences which, for me, gives value to her recommendations. I am so thankful she was assigned to me and I look forward to continuing my journey with her.
Michelle is an exceptionally skilled and compassionate counselor. She has helped me achieve goals and develop some needed skills. I would strongly recommend her to anyone.

Michelle has been a great listener and has helped me so much already. In just a few weeks I feel like we have a plan for conquering my depression and issues.
