About Me

Hi, I am Michelle and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with over 15 years of clinical experience. I have always been a curious and determined seeker of knowledge that I use to help my clients move forward. I love to provide support and guidance to my clients towards the goals of living with clarity, joy, purpose, and acceptance of self. My experience is that we all have circumstances during life that fluctuate from joyousness to suffering.

I am deeply honored to collaborate and counsel with you as you navigate current experiences. It is my goal to help you to heal, to grow, and to amplify your well being and self-confidence. With deep compassion and respect, I am committed to your ethical, innovative, and effective therapy. I work in a Rogerian, client-centered manner that believes you are the expert in your life. I will facilitate with you the inner search for the answers you are seeking. I will add research based knowledge to your wisdom of yourself that will give you heightened skills and decision making ability. I strive to build a foundation of trust and encouragement to help you process the experiences that create suffering for you today. Holding a respectful safe space for you to express yourself is my goal. I believe inner peace and self confidence emerge when we hold this space of allowing all the parts of you and your story to come forward and be held in acceptance, kindness, and unconditional positive regard.

A little about me. I am a wife of 28 years and a mother of four children. Two have grown, and two are home in high school and middle school now. I love my chosen profession, gardening, creating healthful food in the kitchen, hiking trips, muscle training, and yoga. I identify as a Highly Sensitive Person and feel very blessed to have learned so much from my profession that has helped me to build a life I enjoy living. When challenges emerge, as is the nature of life, I use the skills and mindsets learned to navigate, grow and ground myself in equanimity and acceptance with the journey.

Thank you for sharing part of your journey and your story with me.

I have only had 2 sessions with Michelle but so far, she has been wonderful. She is very supportive, caring and also patient with me. She is a great listener and is also smart - she can take on a lot of information and find clarity in my mumbled thoughts. She asks insightful questions that prompt me to think and look deeper within myself. She is also very accomodating in her schedule which I greatly appreciate given our time difference. I look forward to continuing my sessions with her and having my issues solved soon. Thank you, Michelle!
