Michelle Strahl, LCSW
I am a clinical social worker licensed in Oregon. I have over 15 years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings and with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, autism, parenting, career challenges, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, and trauma.
My therapy style is collaborative, encouraging, and warm. I believe in treating all individuals with respect, dignity, and compassion. I am committed to addressing cultural issues around implicit bias, racism, equity and injustices for communities of color and those with diverse backgrounds. I approach this with a culture of humility, as well as an understanding that I am responsible for my own lifelong learning. I strive to be open to feedback and to put meaningful and authentic action behind these sentiments.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapy, and I will tailor our dialogue and treatment goals to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek change and support, and I feel privileged clients allow me to be a part of their journey. Whether you have a history of therapy, or are seeking support for the first time, I look forward to working with you and helping you to accomplish your goals.
