About me

I am a culturally diverse licensed mental health therapist for over 10 years in the State of Florida. I am fluent in English, Haitian Creole and French. I am a veteran who have proudly served in our military (USAR).
I have worked in both crisis intervention and confinement settings. I have been helping individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse disorders and compassion fatigue. Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) are among the many modalities I use. I have extensive experience working with groups, families and individuals dealing with anger, grief/bereavement/loss and life-changing events. I am a fierce advocate for my clients and works well within interdisciplinary teams to include doctors, courts, DCF, community case managers, therapists, and other community partners to meet my clients' needs.
Thank you for recognizing a need and choosing to effect change. Ultimately, it is not my degrees, my modalities nor my experience that will change you. It is your will and determination that will create long term, positive changes in you. I look forward to working with you! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey!!
