For as long as I can remember, I have always been the person who my friends went to for advice. I always knew I wanted to help others, so I attended UNC Charlotte to receive my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to turn my passion into a reality. It was not until I went through a difficult situation in my life, where I battled cancer in my twenties, that I realized exactly what I was meant to do. The feeling of being alone, and not having anyone who truly understood me, taught me that I never wanted anyone else to feel the way that I did.
I have been blessed to work in environments where I had the opportunity to work with a diverse population of all ages on various different issues. I gained experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I provide therapy for adolescents and adults. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, and life’s stressors.
My approach in therapy is that you do not have to face life’s challenges by yourself. I will be there next to you to walk with you on your journey. I do my best to provide unconditional support, warmth, empathy, and understanding by providing you a safe and non-judgmental environment. I believe in using different types of therapeutic approaches in therapy since I believe everyone is different. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, while remaining Person-Centered to help you recognize your strengths. I use different tools to help you learn the skills to help you cope with life’s stressors. I also believe in the importance of self-care as a part of your well-being. I hope to instill hope and positivity into your life.

Amazing listener and human being. So reliable and receptive, a person I can count on for sure!
I could sense myself going into a really dark place. Just being overwhelmed, being at home so much and not making enough time for myself. I found BetterHelp on a Facebook ad. I’m so happy I gave it a try. I’m now in week 3 and have noticed a lot of changes. Please note I’m still a work in progress, but I see a difference. Thank you Minh for the boundary worksheets, your listening ear, solutions versus reactions to my problems.
She was very helpful and prompt at responding. And also, always responded back to my questions.
I appreciate all Minh is doing for me. She has made several great suggestions and it is very helpful to just have someone to talk to.
She has really been a comfort to me through some difficult times. The resources she provides help me to learn things about myself and how to take control of certain situations.
