About Me

My Name is Mishay Butler-Ozore. I am a BBS registered Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I also have specialized training as a drug and alcohol counselor, trauma informed therapist and parenting coach.

Change is constant; it is my job to help you achieve positive change. Utilizing a collaborative, recovery-oriented approach, I can help you discover your internal strengths and resources. Together, we will identify and achieve your therapeutic goals. I have worked with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, domestic violence, grief, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse and self-esteem.

As a therapist, I have worked with a wide range of consumers, including individuals, couples, families and adolescents. I believe in utilizing evidence based, individualized treatments. I like working with Mishay. She’s calm and collected and gives good input and asks questions that make you think about different ways. She’s very knowledgeable with recovery and CBT.

I’ve only been working with Mishay for a few weeks but already I feel I am in good hands! She hears me out, offers me words of encouragement and is noting issues for us to tackle further in later appointments.
