About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I also have my Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University in 2020, Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University in 2008, and Master of Education degree in 2009 from National Louis University. Prior to joining Spalding Clinical Services, Mishel worked as a school social worker for eight years. In addition to private practice, she continues to support schools and students, and she also provides counseling services for her church.
Mishel has extensive experience helping children and their families identify and address issues of childhood. She takes a strengths approach to therapy and focuses on how to find and achieve solutions. Mishel works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples to identify how to work through issues related to mental and emotional health. Mishel uses a direct but caring approach to help elicit positive changes that will help both children and adults overcome obstacles and achieve goals.

Dr. Rich makes herself available when I need her and she has created a safe space for me to be open and honest with my feelings.
