About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have been working in the field for 5 years. I am originally from Northern Michigan and currently practice in Brooklyn, NY. I have experiencing working with individuals, groups, and families around different issues, most involving; depression, panic attacks and anxiety, trauma, relationship stressors, abuse and neglect, and stress management.

My approach in therapy is from a strengths and empowerment based perspective of which the foundation is my personal and professional belief that people are resilient, worthy of love from ourselves and others, and uniquely valuable. By examining our past and present we are able to find within and for ourselves healing, peace, and our true voice. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, non-judgmental, and supportive and view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative and fluid practice. I use a holistic healing approach and will utilize a combination of principles from the following list of therapies to ensure there is focus on mental, physical, and emotional health and wellbeing; mindfulness, mind-body models, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and internal family systems (IFS).

I commend you for reaching out. It takes great courage to look inward and greater courage still to be vulnerable with another and seek support. By providing a safe space, a listening ear, and understanding of the functions and workings of our internal environment, I hope to support you in your journey of becoming the best version of yourself.

Mollie is one of a kind. A gem to work with and truly gets you. She dedicates her time and efforts to get down to the root cause. A great pick in my opinion!

Mollie has been an amazing help! She’s supportive and full of knowledge about trauma. I was able to understand my own trauma process more fully and therefore integrate it more fully with her support.

She’s always very responsive on the texting platform and follows up with additional info when appropriate.

Mollie has been patient and understanding of my situation and demonstrates real care and concern. She helps me put things in perspective and helps me realize that I need to put myself before others in order to be able to effectively help those around me. I am grateful and look forward to her continued support. Thanks Mollie!
