About Me

Hello and welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oregon and have been providing therapy to clients from all walks of life and across the life span for 7 years. I understand how difficult opening up can be, and I know that finding the right person to talk with is important. It is my honor to help people live life to their fullest potential. Together we work through any obstacles you may be having and explore self defeating thoughts that are keeping you stuck from living the life you want. We will work towards a greater sense of self awareness and self compassion that, in turn, will lead to a more fulfilling life.

My approach to psychotherapy draws upon a number of different treatment modalities to help my clients heal and meet their goals. I offer an empathic, safe environment to discuss any issues my clients may be experiencing. I use a gentle, strength based, trauma informed approach to help bring about awareness, meaning and solutions to my client’s life challenges.

I look forward to meeting you! Please reach out if you have any questions at all!

Monica is great. She listens well to me and my feelings, doesn't judge or criticize me for any of it, encourages me to think through things - and most of all, she acknowledges that the real work happens outside of our therapy sessions. She is a kind and compassionate person and I feel safe with her.

Monica is a very good listener. She gives solution that are simple and effective. She shows a lot of concern and helps one to open up. She gives attention to details and validates every emotion. I would definitely recommend working with Monica. Thank you again for your help!

Monica has been extremely supportive and gentle in helping me begin my therapy journey. She guides me through my concerns and always revisits what we spoke about last to ensure I'm doing well. I geel compltetly heard and understood. I was so apprehensive to begin therapy, but from the first session with Monica I felt completely comfortable. I highly recommend her!

Monica has been so much help. She is understanding, honest, and helps process what’s going on. She helps taking steps one by one. Out my two counselors she has built my trust and who I would recommend to those that need help.
