About me
Hello,
Thank you for taking the courageous step of reaching out. Sometimes life can become overwhelming and it can be very helpful to contact a professional who has an objective ear and can help you see things through a different lens in a safe, non-judgmental space. Together we will explore your concerns using a Person-Centered, Strengths based, Solution focused, Cognitive Behavioral approach.
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 30 years experience. I have experience with a wide variety of settings and have an array of clinical experience. I have worked in the college counseling setting, private practice, a community mental health clinic, a hospital based psychiatric emergency service and I have taught undergraduate level psychology courses. I have experience with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, coping with life changes, self-esteem among other concerns.
I tend to be very interactive with my clients. I respect your process while helping you explore difficult issues and help guide you to your own solution. I am warm, authentic, direct and compassionate. I am honored that you have chosen me to help guide you through your journey.
