I am a very relaxed and flexible. I have been told that I am very down to earth, caring, and easy to talk to. I would describe my counseling style as compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental, and meeting you where you are at. Our sessions are relaxed and focused on your goals. You are an active participant in identifying therapy goals and choosing options on how to address them. Depending on your needs, therapy can be more of talk therapy, sharing and processing thoughts and feelings. It could also incorporate solution skill-based focused. We talk about options and come up with a plan together that will meet your needs.

My goal is to assist each individual to develop a rational philosophy of life that will reduce emotional distress and self-defeating behaviors, thus resulting in the ability to be happier and live more fulfilling lives. I believe that each individual is unique and that therapy approaches are to be flexible and unique as well. I practice an integrative approach, with strong emphasis on client-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. I focus on providing holistic therapy, that addresses all aspects involved in an individual's life to stabilize and improve well-being.
