I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado and Arizona with 6 years of professional work experience. I have extensive history working with those in the criminal justice system (jails, prisons, parole, probation).
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I have worked in a very high paced, crisis filled environments and will be able to stay on pace with where you are at in your treatment process.
Along with having dual masters degrees in social work and applied psychology, I am a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology where I have completed all of my course work for my degree, and am in the process of completing my dissertation to finalize my doctorate.
I am very client centered, with an interpersonal approach. I enjoy behavioralism to aid in exploring what may be causing maladaptive choices and coping mechanisms. I also have specific training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I completed Gender Dysphoria evaluations in state prisons and run both individual and group setting with members of the LGBTQ+ population. Though I do not identify as apart of the community myself I am quite knowledgeable and have extensive history with the community!
