About me

"Don't let your struggle become your identity."

I am a professional counselor licensed in South Carolina with over 3 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I work primarily with adults who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and communication issues, sexuality and LGBTQ+ concerns, however I have experience working with a variety of different ages and presenting concerns. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Ed.S. degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in marriage and family. In the next few years, I hope to gain more certifications in trauma treatment and sex therapy.

I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to each person meaning I will work with you to figure out the goals and approaches to make it the best experience for you. Everyone's story is different and your journey will be different too. I am a very warm and jokey person which you will learn very soon! I tend to blend CBT and Client Centered Therapy with mindfulness in a way that suits your own goals.

In my spare time, I love watching all types of movies (mainly thrillers and horror movies) and cuddling with my two cats, Twinkie and Cookie. Hoping to add a Weiner dog to the mix!

It takes a tremendous amount of courage to take the first steps towards changing your life. I am here to support and guide you on that path to a fuller and happier life. I look forward to working with you!
