Mylyia Newton, LMFT
About me
Hello! My name is Mylyia and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I graduated from Appalachian State University and I have been practicing for 4 years now. My primary approach to therapy is Experiential Therapy. I meet my clients where they are and work on building a strong rapport in the beginning. I am here to listen so that you feel heard and to help you find joy once again. Life can be difficult some times and it is comforting knowing you have someone to help you through difficult times; I can be that person for you. I truly care about my clients and want to see them meet whatever goals they may have for therapy. I hope that we will be a good fit and look forward to being there for you!
