Welcome to my profile page! My official title is Dr. Nancy Delaney, PhD, PC. Please call me Nancy. I believe that mutual respect and a comfortable relationship is essential to helping you successfully achieving goals and grow as a person. My clients describe me as down-to-earth and easy to talk to. That's what I work to achieve. Counseling can be challenging, confusing and scary at times. My priority is to put you at ease while we deal with the real issues. I use a combination of approaches and am always amenable to switching strategies to help you keep you moving forward.
I have over 30 years experience working with a broad range of clients and issues. I am very comfortable with depression, anxiety, stress and life changes. Two of my passions are working with people who are struggling through grief or loss; I also have a soft spot for people who have chronic physical conditions that often lead to frustration, hopelessness, fear and uncertainty.
Perhaps this is your first counseling experience; perhaps you've decided to try it again. I will meet you where you are and promise you I will stay with you throughout your counseling journey. I'm ready when you are.
