About Me

Hello, and welcome! As an experienced mental health counselor, I am here to provide support and encouragement to anyone who is struggling with difficult emotions, stressful life transitions, and/or interpersonal relationship issues. My approach to helping is integrative, person-centered, and strength based, and I have advanced training in trauma, CBT and DBT. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to support many parents and families through difficult times, providing gentle and compassionate parenting guidance. I originally studied nursing and practiced as an RN in the areas of pediatrics and mental health for many years before returning to graduate school to study mental health counseling. I attended Nyack College's Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, and I'm an LMHC in New York, an LPC in Colorado, and also hold national certification (NCC).
I'm excited about offering online counseling and look forward to coming alongside you as you move forward in your life.

Nancy is amazing, so patient, kind, sincere, brilliant. I didn’t realize how much I needed Nancy in my life. I’m shifting and my life is better. Thank you

Nancy is very kind and she seems to be highly interested in learning about our issues and suggests things we can apply moving forward.

I have never been so comfortable with a therapist as Nancy. She doesn't waste time, she digs right down to learn about you right away. I have a lot of anxiety and fears, but I can tell Nancy anything. She's kind and caring and I never feel unimportant.
