About me
Therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental relationship to explore parts of you that may make you feel afraid, scared or ashamed through this process you can develop meaningful insights to discover your strengths. I have extensive experience working with people seeking to overcome depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship problems. No matter how stuck and hopeless you may feel, you have the power to take control and embrace the person you'd like to be.
My approach to counseling is cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapy with a focus on goal orientation and targeting the desired outcome of therapy. I like to focus on experiences that might be blocking a person from achieving their ultimate goal.
I received both a Bachelor of Psychology in 2007 from Florida State University and Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2010 from Troy University. I live in Miami, FL with my family. I look forward to working as your therapist to achieve the changes that you seek with counseling.
