I'd like to introduce myself as Nancy Meyering-Zerns, a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) with 12 years of experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, trauma, pain management and care giving by using mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. As a mental health professional, I work to personalize and to assist you in healing in a client centered therapy building self-worth, and improving communication in your relationships, as well as focusing on building and improving your current situation, in addition to working with you to achieve your future goals.
Overall, I encourage growth using strategies of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and relationship enhancement, all the while helping you learn and practice self-love and acceptance, constructive anger, and taking responsibility for your self- care, valuing yourself, and making yourself a priority.
In all walks of life feelings of anger, depression, anxiety, conflict, grief, and loneliness can bubble over, causing untold hurt. This pain may leave one feeling withdrawn, abandoned, and unsupported and this is where I can help!
