About Me

Hello, my name is Dr. Nancy Morritt I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I would like to welcome you and commend you for making this decision to better your life. I have 28 years experience in private practice working with both children and adults in a variety of areas, some of which include depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse related issues, relationship issues and parenting concerns. I also spent four years as a consultant with the Department of Defense working with active duty military personnel on military bases across the United States and overseas. As your therapist I will offer to you a safe place where you feel heard, respected and understood, but also feel challenged to make the changes and growth you desire. Regardless of what you are dealing with I hope you find this to be a warm, nonjudgmental and nurturing environment. Dr. Morrit is an amazing counselor. I have had counselings with some different counselors over twenty years, and she is the best. She is always supportive, kind , and being there for me. Giving me insightful answers, questions, and good resources. She always replies me without delay. And also she gives me a message when I can’t reply her with different reasons. I am so lucky to have her as my counselor.

After years of counseling and therapy Dr Morrit was the first person to mention ADHD. I was stunned at the suggestion but went ahead and sure enough I was diagnosed as having it. Knowing this was the root of my issues and getting treatment for it has changed my life.
