About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician who graduated from Lesley College twenty years ago with a Master's Degree in Counseling/Psychology. Shortly after graduation, I was licensed in MA. I've worked in a variety of settings since gaining my licensure: Early Intervention, Supervised Visitation; Parent Coordinator; and in an inner city health center. The clients I work with have struggled with anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
I have provided therapy to young children and their parents, been trained in Trauma by the Mayor of Boston's Inner-City Trauma Team, and worked in a Multi-Cultural Health Center providing therapy to adolescents and adults as well as being a supervisor to interns and clinicians new to the practice. I've worked with clients who have relationship problems to help them gain insight into their relationships and to reach solutions and resolutions. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents to
My approach to therapy is client-centered. I believe that many adolescents need help and support with issues of peer relationships and communication. I have also worked with teens who are children of divorce or separation and I understand the concerns that accompany these issues. Grief, loss, and trauma are complicated areas of concern and I have experience helping resolve these concerns and bringing perspective to these areas.
