About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I am a graduate of Rutgers University School of Social Work. I have been in practice for the past twenty+ years. My career has been varied touching on all aspects of social work. Teaching, training, program development, preparing students to practice social work and a vibrant private practice. I accept all clients regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. I have experience working with the LGBTQ community and I am a strong advocate for my clients.

I have a myriad of experience in treating mental health and substance abuse issues. My expertise is comprehensive to include but not limited to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, family conflicts, divorce, sexual dysfunction, grief/loss, medical issues obsessive-compulsive disorder, addictive disorders and sexual abuse and trauma among many others.

I utilize various treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family System Theory, DBT, Gestalt Therapy and many additional treatment modalities as it is appropriate for the individual client. It is important that we develop a strong therapeutic relationship where we can work on the issues that you need to resolve. I am very empathic and strive to make my clients feel valued and supported.
