About Me

Have you been finding yourself worrying frequently even feeling overwhelmed? Are you in college and struggling with life decisions and life transitions? Sometimes it's hard, or even impossible, to make the worry slow down or stop. Anxiety and depression can be so frustrating and isolating - there is hope for you!

During my decade of work in counseling a variety of people in a variety of situations I have gained experience working with life transitions, anxiety, depression, family dynamic issues and communication struggles. Trauma and abuse histories are also a significant area of focus for me. There is hope on the other side of what you're experiencing and I believe we can get there together.

My approach is always client centered - I believe that you are the one who knows your experience the best. I want to learn from you what your experiences and struggles have been like. Then, we will walk together to find great solutions that can bring about the freedom you have been searching for. I utilize a variety of approaches, dependent upon specific client needs. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally focused therapy and trauma informed interventions.

I know it feels risky and sometimes overwhelming to reach out, make contact, and request an appointment. I want you to know that I am looking forward to chatting with you and seeing if it would be a great fit to walk through this time together. Can't wait to hear from you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Natalie Kember. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Written by A.L. on Mar 22, 2021 after therapy with Natalie for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, self esteem, coping with life changes, and coaching

I have really only done a few sessions with Natalie so far, but every single session I walk out of, I feel better - like a tiny weight has lifted off my shoulders. She gives me tips, things to think about that I wouldn't have seen or thought of otherwise, support, and exercises that help me get through what I am dealing it. She is compassionate, super friendly and understanding. So far, everything I needed/wanted in a counselor
