Natasha Clarke

About Me

Hello! My name is Natasha Clarke and I am a Marriage, Family and Child Therapist licensed for eight years in California. I have experience working with children, individuals, couples and families on a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, parenting challenges, family and relationship issues, and various life changes and adjustment issues. I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds, cultures and life experiences.

My approach to therapy tends to draw from a humanistic, person-centered approach in that I believe you are the “expert” in the room and my role is to provide you a safe, open and judgment free space to bring out the answers that already lie within you. I believe in creating a space where you can come as you are. My style is open, genuine, welcoming and interactive. I expect the both of us to actively work together throughout the entire process.

My therapeutic approach is an integrative one where I tend to draw from various theoretical orientations, namely person-centered, psychodynamic, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, attachment theory and motivational interviewing. Rest assured I will work closely with you and tailor my therapeutic approach specific to your unique needs in order to help you achieve your desired outcome.

Therapy can be a process that if properly utilized can assist clients in their process of self-discovery. It can be a way to explore and discover your purpose, understand and resolve some of your challenges and learn or unlearn whatever is needed to lead the healthiest life possible.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with you on your journey of self-discovery.

In just two sessions, I feel like I've gotten so much out of working with Natasha. She is incredibly compassionate and just "gets" me. She's been really supportive and knowledgable when it comes to relationships and helping me move through issues with my partner. Super grateful for Natasha and looking forward to continuing to work with her!

Natasha made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable throughout my sessions. She was warm, friendly, reliable, and best of all, she truly listened to me. She has set goals for us to work towards which I love and she checks in on my periodically throughout the week in between our scheduled video calls. Also, she remembers our previous session so you don’t have to go back and repeat yourself. I feel like she truly gets me and is just trying to be my light.
