About me

Hi, I am Nate and I've been in some form of social services since 2006. I've worked with teens and young adults in the child welfare system, in residential settings, homeless individuals and families (including Veterans), individuals on federal probation/parole, and most recently with Afghan refugees during their resettlement process. In therapy, I provide a cognitive behavioral and mindfulness approach and believe it is extremely important to build rapport, trust, and a transparent line of communication.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I welcome those dealing with issues, questions, and concerns surrounding our specialized needs.

I look forward to facilitating this process and coaching you along your journey!

Nate is an active and empathetic listener who has helped illuminate a lot of things about myself and how I show up in this world over the short time we’ve been working together. He has created a safe, judgement-free zone for me to talk out what’s weighing me down while also celebrating the good. I am grateful for him and what he has done for my life.

Nathan A Rosato is my therapist at Betterhelp after changing therapists a few times. He is a great listener, able to understand the complex issues of LGBT life. He never says things which trigger me and gives me practical guidance on matters with all aspects of my personal, spiritual and professional life. A lot of what I write in my journal my deepest secrets which i have never discussed with anyone in my life and because Nate is able to hold a safe space I feel secure in him knowing what is on my mind. He has been able to make me think about what my internal and external limitations are on my self care journey.

Me. Rosato has been very helpful. He is a great listener, but he has also given me many resources to feel like I can be in charge of my mood and how I’m feeling. He is friendly, funny, and I appreciate that I feel as if I’m speaking with a relatable person, not just a clinician. I would recommend him to anyone!!
