About Me

Hello! My name is Neelah and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience providing therapy services. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Lafayette College and my Master's Degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida, where I was born and raised. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including schools (all age groups), hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers.

I have experience working with clients of various cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I have worked with clients affected by depression, anxiety, substance use, dual diagnoses, relationship/family issues, ADHD, self-esteem issues, and trauma. My approach to working with clients typically includes using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy which go hand in hand helping to change negative thoughts in to more positive ones. Over the past 20 years working with individuals/families, as well as in my own personal relationships, I have found that challenging experiences in life help us to stretch, grow, and become better people. I believe in the power of meditation and have used guided imagery to help clients thru very stressful times in their lives. My counseling style is warm and I will tailor the treatment plan and goals to meet individual needs. I love helping clients obtain coping skills that can support them in various aspects of life and helping clients effectively communicate with their loved ones. I know it takes a lot of strength and courage to reach out for help and to be open to receiving counseling services, but therapy can work miracles and it would be my pleasure to work with you.

Outside of providing therapy, I am a busy mom to two daughters and a puppy! I love to spend time with my family and I love to cook, read, ride the Peloton bike, and travel.

Neelah Pincus,

This program has been great for me as I am trying to sort my life out and get my personal affairs in order, and I am finally ready to accept the fact that I need help.

I spoke with Neelah Pincus, did a brief consultation and we started from there. I just feel comfortable with her and I respect people that are blunt and to the point with me and in general.

I know I am capable, I know deserve happiness, and I’m ready to put in the work in and really give myself to the program.

Neelah Pincus, you made me feel comfortable. However this is not just for my friends who I don’t deserve, an unbelievably supportive and loving family that I hold at arms length, but more then anyone and most importantly:
This is for myself so I be the man I I am supposed to be, the husband to the wife I love more then words can define.
This is for myself and for my beautiful wife and I really hope Neenah Pincus can help because she has been absolutely great so far. She has pushed and challenged me mentally with my way of thinking about my way of actually looking at my decisions and why I decide to do or don’t do certain things.
I am VERY happy with her so far, it’s only been a couple weeks but I have I a hard time opening up to people and don’t have that problem with Neelah Pincus. I am grateful to have found her.

Thank you.
