My name is Nekia White, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 10 years experience serving people trying to change and improve their lives. I am passionate about creating a safe space for individuals to share their concerns, fears, and challenges where they will find care, compassion, and a non-judgmental response that will validate their feelings, while empowering them to improve their lives. This is what I offer to everyone who I work with.
I am a psychotherapist with experience with issues such as depression, anxiety, low self esteem, past trauma, relationship challenges, and addictions. My counseling style is warm, down to earth, and interactive. I use a variety of therapy modalities that include person centered therapy, motivational therapy, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. When working with you, I will utilize an individualized approach that will bring you closer to the goals that you have set for yourself.
