I am licensed as a Clinical social worker in FL and NJ and also hold a licence in Clinical Alcohol and drug Counseling in NJ and a similar certificate in FL. Being in practice for over 20 years has provided me with a wealth of experience in dealing with mental health issues. I also have owned and operated outpatient substance abuse treatment facilities in the past and have worked with families of adolescents experiencing behavioral and substance use problems for many years. I also treat anxiety , depression, loss and trauma, as well as intimacy issues and I work well with men in recovery. I attended Rutgers Universities Graduate School of Social work. My theoretical base is psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as family systems therapy but I also utilize CBT techniques and tend to be very client focused. I feel it is extremely important that the client feel comfortable with and have confidence in their therapist and make this a priority. I recently moved to Florida from NJ.
