Hello! My name is Nerissa Pratt and I am mental health counselor that is licensed in both Florida and Georgia. I have been counseling for the past fifteen years and during that time, I specialized in working with couples, adults, children, and families. I help my clients address a variety of issues including (but not limited to) military lifestyle issues, relationship issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ issues, and grief.
I am very passionate about helping my clients build strong relationships and coping skills through counseling. I will help you accomplish your therapy goals through person-centered therapy combined with cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe that these two therapeutic approaches will help to empower you and change the thinking/behaviors that are causing difficulties in your life.
For your safety and due to my licensure states legal and ethical requirements, if you choose to work with me I will need a copy of your driver's license, contact information, and emergency contact information. Please be informed that anything in our sessions remains confidential unless you say you are going to harm your self or someone else.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards becoming a better you! Remember to trust yourself and the process. I am here to help you. Let’s get started today!

Nerissa is absolutely amazing! She has helped me work through so many different issues. I can proudly say I suffer from less anxiety attacks thanks to her help!
Marissa has been very supportive and helping me think through things.
She is absolutely fantastic. I feel more level knowing that I have her to turn to. She has been amazing with helping me work through my feelings when I cant even label what they are or what I'm feeling. I don't know how I would have made it through all of this without her. She has kept me thinking positive even when I wanted to give up and throw in the towel.
All I can say is thank you.
