About me

Maybe you feel like the black sheep of the family, or maybe you're overwhelmed by parental pressure as an adult. Perhaps you’re feeling drained and exhausted by your current friendships. Maybe you're engaged, excited about the wedding and, of course, the honeymoon…but you also may realize there are so many things your parents didn't tell you about marriage. You want a place to talk about budgeting, future children, intimacy, and more. Maybe you are years into your marriage and struggling to keep the fire lit or feel trapped by all the long-term relational wounds and feel like you have reached the point of no return.

As a marriage and family therapist, I specialize in relational issues. I studied at the prestigious Pepperdine University, where I worked hard to develop my identity as a therapist. I am skilled in helping clients process emotional ruptures, learn communication skills, learn assertiveness and boundary-making, and heal from past wounds.

This is more than just a job to me, it's my calling. My life's mission is to care for and support people in the worst of times. I will always foster growth and change in a gentle manner. Whether you are new to the idea of therapy or a therapy vet, I will do everything I can to make you feel empowered, respected, and supported in our therapeutic relationship.

Nia always listened to me and gave me her undivided attention. I enjoyed the journal entries she would assign to me and she helped me get through some really tough times with my family. I would use her forever. She even remembers things I've told her in previous sessions. She is a great therapist!
