Hi! My name is Nicole Dreier and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. I have experience working as a counselor for 4 years in a Community Mental Health setting. Most of my experience is with individuals but I do have experience working with groups and couples as well. Clients that I have worked with have had a wide range of concerns which include depression, anxiety, bipolar, relationship issues, and grief and loss issues. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma and/or abuse.
My counseling style is warm, gentle and interactive. I believe in building a trusting relationship with each client and treating each client with respect and compassion. I believe that this relationship is the key to making change. My approach with clients is comprehensive and can combine carious treatment modalities, which include, Person- Centered, CBT, DBT and Mindfulness principals. I will tailor our treatment plan and the modalities to each clients wants and needs. My goal as a therapist is to help you to build the skills you need and to provide support so you can succeed in life.
It takes a lot of strength to seek out help to build a more fulfilling and happier life. I am proud of you for taking this step. If you are ready to start working towards that change, I am here to support, empower and guide you to that change. I look forward to working with you!

Nicole has been very patient, kind, understanding, and helpful. I feel comfortable opening up to her and more importantly I feel like I have learned valuable skills from her to help better address my anxiety. We have only had a few sessions so far, but I have already been able to come away with actionable steps and get feedback as I go.
Talking to Nicole is like talking to a close supportive friend. Sessions flow however I need them to each week and she always offers resources relevant to topics covered in our sessions. We've mostly covered family relationships, parenting struggles, and marriage issues. She is really wonderful!
Very friendly and knowledgeable about mindfulness. Responds fairly quickly and she is very easy to talk to.
