Nicole Du Mont

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of extensive clinical experience providing support to individuals and families. I have worked with a diverse client population experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, chronic illness and medical trauma.

My counseling style is empathic, focused on trust building, so that I can help you to reach your therapy goals. I utilize various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy, which have been proven to show positive results for clients and their families. Additionally, I integrate mindfulness in my practice, and enjoy engaging my clients in various relaxation, meditation and mindfulness exercises. This can help you to manage difficult emotions, focus your attention and increase your ability to be truly present, and find more joy in your daily life!

I also provide phone and video sessions in Spanish. Please let me know if you prefer to speak Spanish, and I am happy to have our sessions in Spanish!

I wasn’t really sure about giving BetterHelp a third chance. My first counselor was awesome, but not experienced in what I needed. The second was awful. I really thought I couldn’t be placed with a professional who could help, but then I was assigned to Nicole. She has been amazing to work with and has already helped me see things I need to work on in just a few short weeks.
