About me

My name is Nicole Micucci and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida who has been working as a psychotherapist for 5 years. My main goal as your therapist is to create a safe and comforting environment to encourage self-healing. As we move through life, we collect several experiences that shape our identity and self-worth. I have the honor of working with my clients to identify and work through their negative self-beliefs that often times lead to difficulties in mood, repeated negative behaviors, and toxic relationships.

I utilize a strength-based holistic approach as I understand the path to overall well being encompasses many areas of life. I have professional experience in working with concerns including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, co-dependency, mood disorders, personality disorder, identity issues, low self-worth, parenting, relationship issues and grief/loss. In working through these concerns, I implement several modalities including EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT, REBT, IFS, and other mindfulness-based approaches to provide deeper understanding and realistic coping tools.

I strongly believe that each individual person has the capacity to create positive change with in their life. To express the pain we have experienced openly can be difficult, but often freeing and liberating when met with compassion and empathy. You are deserving of freedom from barriers that hold you back and I am here to uplift and support you.

“You are not broken, you are breaking through.”

Talking to Nicole is like talking to a friend, but that friend gives you constructive mental advice.

Nicole is an amazing therapist! I've worked with several therapists in the past - some in person and some virtually - and Nicole is the best I have found.

She is warm and friendly, but asks the hard questions that you need to make progress with therapeutic growth. She is an active listener and makes me feel seen and heard.

I would recommend Nicole to all kinds of people seeking an empathetic and experienced therapist. Her therapeutic toolbox seems like it would fit well with anyone; she definitely knows which tool to use when. When I first started working with Nicole, she took the time to listen to my needs and recommended specific techniques (such as EMDR) for our sessions. So far, all of her recommendations and ideas have been spot on!

Do yourself a favor and work with Nicole for therapy!!
