About me

I know life can be overwhelming. My goal is to work with individuals who want to achieve change in their lives and do not know where to start. It takes a lot of courage to seek out help and I would be honored to allow you a safe place to explore the issues that are currently bothering you.

I received my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my M.S.Ed. in Community Mental Health Counseling both from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Having a background in both communication disorders as well as mental health allows me to work with clients who may not understand how their communication patterns with themselves and others may be impacting their overall mental health. I have worked with children, teens, families and adults in a variety of settings including educational and medical settings.

My approach with clients is to use a variety of modalities that best suit the client and their situation. Most people find the most success when they are able to modify their thoughts or behavior to achieve success and achieve their goals.

Nicole understands my needs and is working to build them slowly. She has tools that take one step at a time instead of trying to climb a mount. She's very supportive.
