About me

I'm a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor supporting adults, adolescents and couples experiencing a range of emotional and relational difficulties:

How I may support you:
I support individuals experiencing Anxiety; Depression; Physical & emotional abuse; Relationship difficulties; Low-Mood; Low confidence or self-esteem; Passive aggressive behaviour; Panic attacks; Anger Management; Sense of imposter syndrome; Neurodiversity; ADHD; Physical, mental, and emotional abuse; BPD; Pandemic and isolation related issues;Gender dysphoria; Sexual identity; Racism; Difficulties at work; Difficulties in retirement; Problems with family or school life; Bullying and Self-harm.
You may personally experience one or more of these issues, or life simply feels less than OK.

I provide support for couples - Heterosexual or same sex, Married, cohabiting or dating.
All relationships from time-to-time experience ups and downs.
The relationship feels complicated and perhaps the arrival of children to the family unit may contribute further to the difficulties.
I can help make sense of what may otherwise seem like a complex tangle of overwhelming problems.

At times, you as a couple may already resolved to part ways but seek support to do this amicably. The end of a relationship doesn’t have to be the start of enduring resentment and acrimony.
I can support you in seeking to achieve a dignified ending.

Couples counselling, may help with one or more of issues such as:
Communication: Feeling unheard, misunderstood or unimportant
Conflicts: Emotionally charged disagreements
Trust: Betrayal, infidelity, or broken promises can erode trust, causing relational strain
Intimacy: Becoming less frequent, and emotional connection not so meaningful
Financial Difficulties: Insufficient income, poor spending habits, unclear priorities
Sexual connection: Sexual preferences, mismatched boundaries, unmet needs
Parenting: Mismatched parenting styles, unhelpful familial alliances
Pre-existing experiences: Past traumas, unresolved issues, past relationships
Quality Time: Rediscovering the time once enjoyed together
Mismatched expectations: Reconciling expectations, roles, commitment, future plans

Together, you and I can, work through these difficulties making sense of your situation, enabling you to make a meaningful emotional shift for life to feel more wholesome.

I can help to untangle the troubling problems, which often force us to hide that innermost true self. This can lead to better relationships with ourselves and others, and a more authentic way of being.

These problems may often feel unmanageable on our own.
I am by your side, with you all the way without judgement, but with empathy, openness and respect.

I have been described as supportive, caring, compassionate and good humoured.
As a BACP registered therapist, I am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework, focusing on Client needs first and foremost

I work integratively, which means I will adapt my support with the techniques and approach which best meets your specific needs as therapeutic counselling is first and foremost about you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I genuinely look forward to speaking to Nidhish every week. He has truly helped me so much over the last few months and is continuing to guide me the best way he can. I’m starting to see him more as a friend than a therapist. It was a big step for me starting therapy and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better therapist. Thank you for all you do for me Nidhish
