About me

My name is Niesha Perry,M.Ed, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health in 2011 from Kent State University. I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2011. I specialize in providing both mental health and substance abuse counseling for individuals in need to healing, recovery and growth. Individuals facing life stressors should have a dedicated and empathetic relationship with someone they can trust.
My areas of competence include but are not limited to depression, PTSD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. My goal is to increase each client's level of functioning and assist them with identifying the missing piece in their lives. I am passionate about increasing knowledge and awareness of LGBT issues that impact ones mental health. I am flexible with my client's schedules because I understand everyone is trying to balance their priorities and demands.
I offer a calm and comforting environment to allow clients to feel open and accepted. I believe therapy is a place for you to process your thoughts and emotions in which ever ways are best for you. I will allow you to lead the way. If you rather talk, I will listen. If you rather complete worksheets and reflect on the content, I will do that as well.
Every journey begins with taking the first step. I will support you along the way as you build self confidence, trust and resiliency.

She is so kind and patient! She has really helped me already in just the few sessions I have had with her.
