About Me

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in Southern California. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I am skilled in working with depression, anxiety, change of life issues, addressing trauma and grief, relationship conflict, parenting skills, and more. Additionally, I am trained in Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). Most importantly, I am passionate about walking along side you and supporting you as you make meaningful changes in your thinking, your behavior, and in your relationships, and helping you live a life that you love! Change is hard! It takes teamwork. Together, we will work to help you move purposely towards the life you want.

I center my work around mindfulness, as well as identifying and addressing problematic belief patterns that negatively impact your life. I also practice solution focused, hopeful, mindful therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Executive coaching. I am a nature lover with a heart for protecting the planet and living consciously and peacefully with everyone. Yoga, running, music, and traveling keep me balanced and in harmony with others. I love serving people and helping them live their best lives. How can I help you?

I’ve had three therapists and Nikeisha is by far the best one I’ve had. She really understands me and gives me hope that I’ll be able to get through all my issues and gives me various ways on how to cope.

As a physician I can truly appreciate the extra effort that Keisha provides for her patients. She provides feedback in a gentle soothing nonjudgmental manner that promotes healing and self care.

Speaking with Nikeisha helped in my grieving process as I tried to make sense of things, reflect on loss and resilience, and use my recent loss as a catalyst for letting go of things and thoughts that constrain and "show up" in the present. I appreciate Nikeisha's expertise and ability to listen and provide insight and perspective. It has helped me tremendously.

From the very first contact I felt that Nikeisha really cared about the difficulties I was experiencing. She was totally supportive and non-judgmental so I felt I could tell her everything that was distressing me. She let me grieve and express my feelings so we could move on to possible solutions to alleviating the emotional pain I was feeling. With her help I was able to rapidly move forward to deal with my emotions and feel strong enough to help myself.

Nikeisha has helped me in so many ways. She really listens to what my concerns are and helps guide me to find a solution. She's offered me multiple different ways to help me gain my confidence. I really intend to continue working with her, I've made progress but I have more to go. I love that I can really trust her.
