About me

Nityia Lathan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She earned her masters in science from Nova SouthEastern University. She began her career working with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Here, she provided support to adolescents involved in the criminal system. She later began working for a grant funded program in Palm Beach County designed to prevent and treat behavioral and emotional problems in children and teenagers. Nityia has worked throughout Palm Beach County with various agencies providing individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her work includes working with the severe and persistent mentally ill at Client South County Mental Health, one of the counties largest inpatient/outpatient residential facilities.
