About me
I earned my Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) degree in 2015 and I am licensed in Washington with 8+ years of professional work experience. My background includes helping clients with depression & anxiety, lgbtq+ related issues, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, & eating disorders. I also have extensive experience working with young adults, particularly in college settings and those encountering adjustment issues and substance use concerns.
As a humanistic therapist, my goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space to help you increase self-awareness and move toward a more authentic and meaningful life. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion and I will tailor our sessions based on your individual needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches. I am trained in and employ techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness & meditation.
