Norma Martinez, LPC
About me
I am passionate about advocating for equitable access to mental health care, social justice, and building community. Each session, I will show up as myself which may be different from what has been traditionally portrayed as a therapist. I value humor, transparency, authenticity, and collaboration, in a counseling relationship. I believe that each individual has tools within themselves to heal, and how healing can continue with community support.
Although I work with clients from all walks of life, as a Latinx woman, I am passionate about working with first generation college students, particularly those from the BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ population. My specialties include: life transitions, culture and identity, anxiety, depression, and strengthening relationships.

She's very helpful and listens to what I am wanting to discuss. Always encourages me and gets me thinking of things that I've never really thought about
