Bachelor of Arts in History; Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication; Master of Arts in Religious Studies; Master of Science in Community Counseling; Master of Education; completed coursework in Elementary and Secondary Education; Advanced Psychodynamic Clinical Practice Fellowship Program and Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling.

National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor through the State of Illinois.

Enlisted in the Illinois Army National Guard (ILARNG) July 1994. Retired September 2020, Brigade Chaplain, rank of Major with Family Life Chaplain skill identifier.

Chaplain assignments included Brigade Chaplain, Family Life Chaplain, Wounded Warrior Ministry Chaplain, Task Force Chaplain, Family Life Chaplain, and Battalion Chaplain. Other military assignments include Chaplain Candidate, Officer Candidate and Finance Clerk (enlisted).

I journey with clients utilizing systems based theory, coaching, trauma informed care, mindfulness based practices, alternative and integrative models. Therapy is provided virtually.

I specialize in care for clients to identify values, navigate life change, explore identity/sense of self, resolve conflicts, determine boundaries, heal through anxiety, depression, and trauma; care is whole health informed.
