Pamela Cardella, LPC
About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I have experience in providing counseling services for all types of issues; depression, anxiety, life changes, LGBTQ+ issues, attachment disorders, marital counseling and so on. I enjoy counseling a broad spectrum of clients, but I do specialize in those with Chronic Post Traumatic Stress, Addictions and children of parents and/or partners of those with Cluster “B” Disorders such as Antisocial, Borderline, Histrionic and Narcissistic personality disorder.
When my clients describe me, they say that my approach is warm, empathetic, transparent, educational, and very direct with a little bit of funny thrown in. When I listen to my clients, I truly try to hear what they are saying, understand what they are feeling and work hard to help them learn more about themselves and their underlying core beliefs so that the changes they wish to make can be achieved.
I use an integrative approach to each of my clients, meaning that I tailor my approach to my client’s needs as not “one size fits all”. I largely rely on Person Centered, Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy approaches. I am also experienced and licensed in holistic approaches such as Acupuncture, Herbology, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy and Massage Therapy. I believe that using multiple disciplines can increase positive outcomes.
