About me

The counseling relationship is a special one. When you find a counselor who is a good fit, you will be amazed at how it can help you grow toward a meaningful and fulfilling life. My hope for you is that you find the counselor that best helps you become who you are meant to be!

When you work with me, you can expect to feel connected, accepted, and understood without judgment. I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you grow and develop the life you are looking for. Life can throw us a lot of curveballs, and it is normal to need help to get through them.

I am a practicing licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, and I am nationally certified as a therapist. I have more than ten years of experience working in schools, private practice, and university instruction. One thing I enjoy almost as much as helping others as a counselor is helping others become great counselors so that as many people as possible can get the help they deserve.

Part of our success will come from my work to tailor your therapy experience with therapeutic approaches including person-centered, cognitive behavior, motivational interviewing, and reality therapies. Your life, your story, and your experiences are unique, and my approach to helping you will be as well. I look forward to working with you, and I can’t wait to see you move toward loving, honoring, and accepting yourself as you build a meaningful, fulfilling, and satisfying life.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Pamela Davis. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Dr. Davis is an absolute treasure. I’m lucky to have found her. She’s empathetic but not a pushover. She’s knowledgeable but not cold. She’s dialed into what on my mind but also pushes me to consider things I might be missing. She’s genuine. And it’s been hugely helpful to talk with her. Absolutely worth it.
