About me

I want my clients to live their best life. I want them to be whole spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. That's why I obtained a Master's degree in Social Work and for 40 years studied and mastered the concepts of the mind-body connection. I have been a Master Social Work Professional for over 30 years.

I believe nothing that happens to us occurs in a vacuum. What manifests in our lives resulted from sustained thought and emotion then became physical and behavioral. Resolve the thoughts and emotions, change the behavior. Teaming with and standing for my clients through the therapeutic process, we decide together where to start and where to end, marking milestones along the way.

To enhance the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I whole-heartedly endorse the use of the Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping. It is a simple, energy-balancing technique endorsed by the American Psychological Association. Tapping makes change easier. My clients rediscover humor, fun, inner strength, confidence and self worth. You ready?

I have tried many different therapists and Pamela is the first one that I feel isn’t just fluffing my ego and actually giving me actionable tools to reframe the condition of my mind, she has the experience and specific tool sets that I feel really are making a difference for me, This is my first truly effective therapy experience. I’ve tried three other times with no success. Pamela is one of those therapist that seems like maybe she has written a few books, she is constantly pulling out good philosophical quotes and analogies that challenge my thinking exactly what I was looking for.

Pam continues to be someone I work really well with. She offers fruitful wisdom and is willing to explore issues as deep or as trivial as they happen to be each week, and teaches me how to find actionable solutions to improve my life!

Pamela has been an excellent therapist for me and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is attentive and understanding, and I really appreciate her blend of humor and light-heartedness in the moments that I needed it; it felt like she had a great grasp on when I needed to be pushed and when I didn't.
