About Me

I want my clients to live their best life. I want them to be whole spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. That's why I obtained a Master's degree in Social Work and for 40 years studied and mastered the concepts of the mind-body connection. I have been a Master Social Work Professional for 30 years.

I believe nothing that happens to us occurs in a vacuum. What manifests in our lives resulted from sustained thought and emotion then became physical and behavioral. Resolve the thoughts and emotions, change the behavior. Teaming with and standing for my clients through the therapeutic process, we decide together where to start and where to end, marking milestones along the way.

To enhance the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I whole-heartedly endorse the use of the Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping. It is a simple, energy-balancing technique endorsed by the American Psychological Association. Tapping makes change easier. My clients rediscover humor, fun, inner strength, confidence and self worth. You ready?

Written by C.A. on Aug 06, 2020 after counseling with Pamela for 1 year and 2 months on issues concerning depression, and stress, anxiety

Pamela Walker is incredibly skilled and caring. It was only with Pamela Walker that I had the confidence and trust to reveal a very prolonged period of physical, sexual, and mental abuse in early childhood. I have never spoken about it to the two other therapists I worked with in the past. I have never spoken about it to friends or family. It was the most terrifying part of my childhood that left me fearful, extremely anxious, and often quite sad as an adult. I have learned from Pamela to understand and really believe that as a young child I was not responsible for the acts of the abuser, and this has helped to free me. I still feel tremendous fear and anxiety some days, but I have learned strategies during my work with Pamela to decrease my anxiety. Now I even have days where I am for the most part anxiety free. I will continue to work towards more of those days each week. I am learning to focus on the important things in life, and not feel shame for doing so.
I am so grateful to Pamela Walker for her tremendous help.
I would recommend Pamela Walker to anyone struggling with life.

I believe that Pamela Walker is a powerfully anointed counselor who has understanding and insight, which allows her to help clients overcome the effects of trauma. Her ability to listen and ask thought provoking questions helped me to discover the limiting beliefs that were hindering my growth and healing. She is down to earth with a great sense of humor, and those attributes help to make each session impactful.

Pamela is a wonderful counsellor, good listener and able to help me move forward in my therapy.

Written by S.H. on Apr 12, 2020 after counseling with Pamela for 2 weeks

I highly recommend Pamela. It's on our, as clients own terms. When you go face to face, you wait in a waiting room & by the time you get in the room you forget what you actually wanted to talk about but now feel discouraged. Online it's your plan & you can read your own "chart" & reflect on your progress. Not seeing body language & hearing a tone of voice helps, too. But, I can't wait for my phone appointment with my counselor.

Written by A.S. on Mar 06, 2020 after counseling with Pamela for 1 year on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and eating disorders

Pamela is very empathetic, intuitive and resourceful, creating a safe and creative space for our time together. I am forever grateful and moved by our journey together. She balances emotion, thought, body and action, and we often implemented EFT to include all those factors into working on the core issue, which was and continues to be incredibly effective!
Pamela’s humor and warmth was very reassuring and brought trust into the relationship between us. This made me feel free to express myself both brightly and deeply keeping grounded in truth and on track with my goals. Pamela is a wonderful example of healthy self esteem, inner strength, elegance and positivity! Together we cultivated aspects of those qualities in myself and minimized my anxiety, thought loops, built up my self worth and implementing boundaries through our sessions together. I would highly recommend counseling with Pamela to anyone who is ready to do the work and play, too

Pam was the first therapist who was able to identify and address my deep rooted, problematic thought patterns and provide helpful guidance in order to break them. She is and excellent counsellor, and has achieved the perfect balance of validating your thoughts and feelings, while also showing you when thoughts might be negatively impacting your mental health. I constantly praise Pamela to my friends and family for how helpful my sessions have been with her, and recommend her to all of my friends who struggle anxiety, depression, family conflict and childhood trauma.

Written by C.L. on Jan 18, 2020 after counseling with Pamela for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety

Pamela Walker has been treating me for OCD and related panic feelings. She is very experienced and surprisingly knows how to deal with the most complex situations that you don’t realistically expect ANYONE to be able to understand. She makes you feel safe talking to her. All I needed to do was clearly communicate how I’m feeling, tell her how fast or how slow I wanted to go, when I needed help to deal with symptoms and when I was ready to address the root cause of those symptoms. She taught me techniques to manage my symptoms, including a very effective tapping technique. I would wholeheartedly recommend Pamela Walker to anyone who needs a counselor.

I definitely recommend working with her.
