About Me

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing services to clients for over 20 years. I have worked in several state including New York, Florida and North Carolina. I have treated a wide variety of populations and ages across the entire life span. I believe that a therapist is a tool for you to use on your individual life journey. I also know believe that a person's mental health is just as if not more important than physical health. If your mind is well, physical healing is easier and more possible.

Although I enjoy working with all populations I believe that my experience, skills and level of training are a good fit for individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship and self esteem issues. I also have many years of experience working in family systems.
I hope that my clients will find that I am a compassionate therapist who does not have any other agenda other than what my clients' stated goals are. I hope that my clients will find that therapy with me will be a safe and supportive place to come to.

I utilize cognitive behavioral treatment, dialectical behavioral treatment, family centered treatment and emotionally focused treatment. My approach is to start where you want to begin. I look forward to working with you.

Mala Ross (LCSW) is a great therapist who is clearly experienced, and shows a lot of empathy. She has a deep understanding for people and what they need for their mental health.

For me personally, she helped me handle my anxiety and some of my past traumas in new ways. Through talking with her she has helped me build the skills that I need to lead a happier and more easy life. I live a more full life thanks to working with her.

Mala taught me how to begin exposure work to overcome some of my greatest fears; she also taught me how to continue the exposure work with her and on my own. This has helped me to navigate my anxiety with much more understanding, skill, and acceptance. I can now handle situations which seemed impossible to me before I began working with her.
