Parie Reed, BACP
About me
I am licensed in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, & parenting issues. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage.
I am an Integrative therapist helping clients in their journey; my sessions are designed to provide a welcoming space for you in order to feel able to open up at a pace that you are comfortable with, and an environment that you feel safe within. My counselling is delivered totally without judgment, and each one of my clients is valued as an individual and treated with absolute respect, dignity, and care. I will offer you gentle, yet effective guidance and support throughout, and encourage you to gain inner clarity and understanding of the issues affecting you now, whether they stem from the past, present, or future. We will work together to introduce into your life the right practices and processes to target the feelings, fears and worries that reside within.
My background is in education; I have delivered mindfulness coaching and solution focused therapy to young people, and regularly incorporate techniques harnessed in those areas into my counselling sessions. I am a firm believer in the ongoing pursuit of discovering positive and mentally-healing practices that can benefit us all as human beings. Throughout our time together we will talk openly and confidentially about the issues that have led you to seek counselling, and we will work at a pace that fits naturally around you. Our sessions will be entirely confidential, mutually respectful, and entirely with you in mind.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your counselling journey.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy (MBACP). This means that I adhere to professional codes of conduct and ethical frameworks. Working diligently within their ethical guidelines and follow best practices at all times.
I am here to support you in your process.

I am so grateful for the help and guidance I have received since starting therapy with Betterhelp and Parie. As it's my first time doing therapy, I was not sure what to expect but she guided me through the process and helped me through difficult times. My life is constantly changing for the better and I couldn't have done it without the support. I am learning something every week and especially the included journal helps immensely as my therapists gets a holistic picture about what's going on and what triggers me in the moment it occurs. So, I don't have to remember everything I want to discuss in a session but Parie already knows much more about what's going on and we can immediately "get to work". Thank you!

Till now I had two sessions with her. I find her professional and very concentrated on the issues. The video connection is marvelous and I have not the feeling we are far away. She is very flexible regarding me and my family. I recommend Parie and I am in Hamburg-Germany. I like the way she challenges me to think over about my life. And I want to be pushed motivated and find my way with very heavy issues my life has.

I was at a place where I thought nothing would ever get better. I really thought therapy also might not help but when I started taking sessions with Parie I felt like she understands me more than I do. Her sessions gave me a lot of freedom from my negative thoughts, I started living a little more. I finally thought nothing is wrong with me. She is a Compassionate and good listener. I would recommend her to anyone who needs support living their lives. I can't thank her enough!!
