About me

My name is Pascale Roy and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I am also a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have 30 years of experience as a counselor. I have experience working in various settings and with diverse groups: outpatient, inpatient, outreach, advocacy, counseling centers, EAP, private practice.
My counseling style is pretty straight forward and direct. I strongly believe in listening to the client and respecting the client. It is your journey of discovery and growth and you have invited me to join you. I utilize a client-centered approach to emphasize a trust based professional relationship that fosters continued development and discovery. My approach is a combination of cognitive behavioral, humanistic and rational emotive therapy. In the past I have offered therapy in the areas of stress management, anger management, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, life changes and life transition, substance use and recovery, LGBT, to name a few.
I am passionate about my job, thus the career spanning so many years. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish. My interest include travel, hiking, humor.
