My name is Trish Becker and I've been a licensed therapist (LCSW) for over 10 years. My first priority when working with a client is being totally open and non-judgmental about anything they share. I know how hard it is to be vulnerable and open up about painful things so when someone trusts me to do that, I feel the most valuable thing I can give to them is complete and total acceptance. I may have suggestions as to other ways to deal with an issue but the client's original choice, I truly believe, was the best they could do at the time...even if they knew the healthier option. They would've taken that road had they been able to at the time.
The issue that comes up most often in my day to day work with client's is their frustration with not being able to turn off their negative, self-defeating thoughts or to stop worrying about things. This continuous inner dialog can create or make worse symptoms of depression and anxiety. It can impair relationships or ones ability to concentrate at work or school. Not being able to turn off uncomfortable thoughts, can also lead to the abuse of alcohol and other drugs addiction. It can make torturous a trauma history and PTSD if a person has frightening or disturbing thoughts replaying in their heads during both waking and sleeping hours. I am familiar with most mental health problems including those I mentioned above as well more chronic concerns like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I strive to help individuals work with or through these issues to achieve more happiness in their lives.
I look forward to working with you!

Patricia really helped me the first time I worked with her and I have come back to her now because I trust her to treat me with sensitive and understanding and to make gentle suggestions rather than pushing me in a specific direction.
Patricia is incredible!
Patricia Becker has exceeded my expectations for a therapist. As someone new to therapy, I wanted not only the convenience of doing it online, but also the anonymity. Patricia is extremely understanding and sensitive. Not only did I feel she listened, but I felt she understood and wanted to help. She guides without pushing, and helps find solutions that you are comfortable with. I really enjoy her feedback and insight and I appreciate her help greatly.
She respects my feelings and makes opening up to her easy
I love this so very much. Doing therapy can be hard, and it's great that I don't have to go to an office. I can get help when and where it's convenient for me, over the phone, online, and live video. I've gotten more and far better care than I ever have, and my counselor Patricia, I can't even tell you how great she is.
Trish is great! She responds super-quick and is always asking questions that make you think. I also love the feeling of warmth and acceptance she manages to convey, even through email. I was a little skeptical of the format at first, but now I'm really glad I decided to try it.
She was great
Trish is very insightful, and she is very responsive. I recommend her.
She is super understanding and has given me great advice and guidance and has even checked on me when I didn't respond for a while. I love her!
Patricia is amazing, really grateful for her promptness and thorough responses. She is wonderful!
Patricia and I are just still getting to know one another. However, we have had some great dialogue thus far. Patricia has shown me that she interprets what I am communicating well and has offered some foundational feedback to me. Having a relationship with Patricia has given me some relief from being alone with my thoughts and while I am processing. I feel more relaxed after reading Patricia's replies, she sees areas that I am over-doing it or worrying and offers me the freedom to let go.
