I am Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of California located in Alameda. I am retired from the Department of Rehabilitation having worked their for 21 years. I have over 25 years of experience working with people with disabilities predominantly the mental health population. I have not had a private practice and I am looking forward to starting this process. My expertise lies in the area of Happiness and Mindfulness. I am very positive and try to bring that to my clients. I have always been a good listener, therefore my choice in becoming a counselor and working with diverse populations. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I am an expert on disability and how it affect a person not working due to physical mental or economic issues. Extra training have been in the areas of Suicide prevention, treatment and diagnosis, Aging and long term care, Post Traumatic Stress, DSM-5 the comprehensive overview. Also continuing study in Happiness Therapy and Mindfulness.
I am a professional musician having recorded and toured the world with my guitar. I am now in the SF bay area with my wife Billie. We have studio and write and record music that opens the heart.
