I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with MA and EdS degrees in Counseling as well as an MBA. I am also certified as a NJ School Counselor and a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (DRCC). I have worked as a counselor, therapist, supervisor, and director for non-profit mental health agencies and I am also an EMT so I have a foundational medical background and familiarity with stressful situations. After graduating with a master's degree in counseling, I chose to pursue an MBA degree to gain professional business knowledge.
I have extensive experience working with individuals with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health concerns. I also have experience working with families/couples for marriage and family therapy and relationship counseling and in addition, I have also worked with business professionals experiencing work-related stress and concerns.
I have worked with teenagers, adults, couples, and families and strive to provide support and guidance to the individuals that I am assisting. I strive to help individuals feel empowered to make choices and decisions that they may be struggling with. Making the decision to contact a therapist can be difficult for some and my goal is to make the process as welcoming as possible. I present myself in a relaxed and informal manner that is collaborative in nature. You likely will find that therapy sessions with me most resemble a warm conversation in a soothing setting.
I look forward to helping you develop and achieve your goals and find the peace that you may be seeking!

Patti has been a huge source of help to me. She has always listened to every problem I have, and helped me break down each piece of what I am concerned with. She has equipped me with so many skills to cope with daily life and stresses. Thank you Patti!
Patti is incredibly compassionate as well as upfront and honest. She makes it easy to open up and communicate with her in order to get down to a solution. I love her matter-of-fact way of addressing a situation, which allows you to get to root of a problem rather than using niceties that keep you guessing. Highly recommend her!
It’s just really nice to talk to somebody and she questions me so I can get a clear understanding of myself. I just really open to communicating without judgement.
Every interaction was wonderful and helpful. She is an amazing counselor.

Patti is absolutely great! She is attentive and really takes the time to listen to my problems.
Patti has been so helpful over the last 3 months. She has helped support me through a variety of things, including things I hadn't even really thought I'd need support with. She's been great with advice and helping me with worksheets, on everything from grief, work and home life balance, marriage, family, life changes, negative people, and more. She's empathetic and supportive and very obviously listens and pays attention as she'll mention things I've said weeks ago. She understands my struggle with leaving my work at work and not having it affect me at home all the time and she's empathetic about my losses. She supports me in my goals on being more mindful and present at home
She seems to truly care about people and helping and I can't thank her enough. She's been supporting me for 3 months and I plan on continuing on further with her. Thanks Patti!

Patti is smart and just gets your needs really well. She offers a ton of supportive advice and actionable goals you can work on.
First off, I would like to say, I was hesitant about trying BetterHelp, and while I have thought about getting a therapist, I always thought it was not eligible for someone like me. After a huge incident that happened in my life, I decided to try online therapy so it would allow me to get help whenever it would not clash with my crazy work schedule. Upon trying therapy, Patti was an understanding and amazing person to speak with. She asked me a series of questions to get a feel for why I'm here and what specifically I needed help on. Once we warmed up, we delved right in to root of the problem and why I was here. She has since helped out SO much with gathering my crazy thoughts together and always sends extensive messages with detailed explanations and always giving me good feedback and tips. She allows me to vent and tell her all of my feeling without any judgment and always does her best to help me in any way she can. Since talking to her, I have been a lot happier and the situation has no longer got me feeling lonely and or sorrow. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist that deals with everyday challenges and issues. I would not want any other therapist but her and it is honestly so convenient to have her accessible 24/7. Thank You Patti for being such a big help and making me enjoy our therapy sessions and making me feel so comfortable since this is my FIRST experience with therapy!
